We are working in collaboration with Matt Architecture to turn this previously neglected part of the Soho Conservation Area into an active mixed-use development of new and resilient architecture and public realm.
The 300,000 sqft building will provide purpose-built office space plus shops, restaurants, bars and apartments. We are also creating a new education-led gallery space in the adjacent Grade II listed 14 Greek Street.
Arranged across nine floors plus four basement levels, a spotlight shaped atrium, dramatically cut into the building’s subterranean floors provides daylight to each of the levels. The upper floors step down in massing and mediate between the diverse civic characters of Charing Cross Road and Soho. The design exploits this to create over 12,000 sqft of planted external terraces.
