Studio Administrator

 We are looking for an enthusiastic and exceptionally organised Studio Administrator. The role is a key part of the team. As Studio Administrator you will support/work alongside the Studio Manager with the running of the Studio space, as well as playing an important part in our social and cultural life. The role is varied – being the first point of contact for all incoming calls and guests, supporting the Graphics team with social media, as well as the whole team, projects and Director as needed.

We are looking for someone who is willing to apply themselves to both routine and ad hoc duties in an administrative capacity. This is a part-time role (24 hours/3 days a week) with the potential for growth, and the opportunity to learn from a dynamic team.


  • Meeting and greeting clients and making Tea and Coffee
  • Answering phones, recording and delivering messages accurately
  • Dealing with couriers and post
  • Administration and daily upkeep of Studio Contacts Database in CMAP, and Project Directories
  • Overseeing site log book and location of team members
  • Managing the Studio Calendar including booking of the meeting room
  • Supporting the Graphics team with the upkeep of the website and all SODA’s social channels
    (Instagram, twitter, LinkedIn)
  • Ensuring Studio is kept tidy at all times
  • Managing hello email account – forwarding on enquiries and information to the Studio Manager as necessary
  • Taking an active role in internal communications, supporting and organising the team to be actively involved
    in London’s design scene
  • Responsibility for monthly SODA social and organisation of end of the week team meeting
  • Responsibility for Studio’s stationery supplies, sample, magazine and resource library
  • Responsibility for Studio’s kitchen – weekly grocery shop, upkeep of the area including loading/unloading
    of the dishwasher
  • Team birthday’s – organising card and cake
  • First point of contact for cleaner (Studio cleaned twice a week)
  • Administration support to Studio Manager and Graphics team for Marketing activity as and when needed (such as Christmas Card, Events and Brand collateral)
  • Assist Associate with Studio’s IT requirements – regular health checks, ensuring all software is up to date and
    working on all PC’s

Applicants of exceptional ability and artistic ambition are sought for. Projects ranging in size and scale from one-off art installations to complex commercial buildings. Strong graphics and 3D modelling skills required.
